Masters of Pop: Meet Chaps Choir

Chaps Choir performing at Shoreditch Church

It’s all we can do not to fast forward time until next Saturday, but given that our powers don’t extend that far yet, we thought it would be good to introduce you to the acts performing at our Masters of Pop birthday gig.

Chaps Choir is the brainchild of our own musical director, Dom Stichbury. Made up of 60 men from all over London, Chaps has been going just over a year and sold out concerts at Union Chapel (SO beautiful) and Shoreditch Church. They are absolutely terrific and we can’t wait to have them at St Giles.

Obviously we love a mash-up, so no prizes for which of their set we love most. Here’s a favourite performance of theirs, a wonderful combination of Cream’s I Feel Free, and Lucky Man by The Verve. Gorgeous.

You can find out more about Chaps Choir online at www.chapschoir.com, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Masters of Pop featuring Chaps Choir – Saturday 14 June, 7pm @ St Giles Church, SE5 8JT . Tickets £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
