Popping up at Peckham Levels! (27/3/18)

Pop up to the auditorium on Level 5 of Peckham’s latest creative hub Peckham Levels on Tuesday 27th March, 20:00 to experience South-London acappella rabble The Pop-Up Choir and it’s totally free!

dec 2017 beckenham place parkAfter a rather busy December gigging about town, we are back and very excited about what is in store in 2018.

The Pop-Up Choir are looking for male bass singers!
If you like the sound of singing kick-ass arrangements of high-energy crowd pleasers, indie classics and spine-tingling soul from Adele, Pulp, Outkast, Prince, En Vogue, Mark Ronson, Fleetwood Mac, Taylor Swift, and more…and want to join a choir – we’d love to hear from you. We have spaces for male bass singers with an immediate start

We rehearse every Tuesday in Kennington where the beer is very reasonably priced!
Just take a couple of moments to click on this link and fill in the form.

We are also super excited to announce our wonderful MD is headlining this month with her own music. Pop the 27th of Jan in your diaries and head to the Slaughtered Lamb where Genevieve Dawson will be performing with a full band!

Singing together a frank lyrical style with a warmth and soulfulness that inhabits the same alt-folk terrain as Laura Marling and Ani DiFranco, her rich and sophisticated sound pulls influence from jazz and folk in equal measure. It’s too good to miss!

Ta-Ta for now!

This weekend: Beckenham Festival Of Lights

We will be singing LIVE not once but TWICE at this weekend’s magical event at Beckenham Place; bursting with family workshops, music performances, and the switching on of the Christmas tree and lights! …You’ll even be able to pick up your Christmas tree on the day! Everyone welcome!

Only The World Remains: A Pop Up Performance.

It’s just a regular Saturday – a group of 30-somethings hanging out in a subway with a plan to entertain art lovers.

Hopefully congregating outside the gates of MI6 under the glare of Secret Intelligence Service cameras game them some entertainment.

Despite a few riverside walkers looking somewhat bemused by our presence, those on the art walk were thoroughly entertained, and were most appreciative of the encore back at the gallery.

Thanks to Space Station Sixty Five for inviting us!
